About Us

Rose City Endoscopy (a.k.a. RCE) is an outpatient healthcare facility with dedicated and professional staff that uses state-of-the-art technology and equipment to provide screening, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal benign and malignant diseases, as well as other surgical conditions to Windsor and its surrounding communities. We are devoted to promote faster access to healthcare with an emphasis on patient safety. 

RCE opened in 2012. We are certified by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Each service we provide follows the strict rules and guidelines set forth by CPSO Standards of Practice. 

Dr. Vladislav Khokhotva is the medical director of Rose City Endoscopy. 

1. EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy, a.k.a. gastroscopy)

2. Colonoscopy

3. Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

4. Hemorrhoidal Banding

5. HALRAR (Hemorrhoidal Artery Ligation and Recto-Anal Repair).

On  top of these procedures, Dr. Khokhotva provides consultations regarding gastrointestinal symptoms, diseases, and general surgical interventions.

Yes. It is safe to have procedures at Rose City Endoscopy. Prior to opening our clinic, CPSO has inspected and approved our facility to provide the above procedures. Each equipment we use has been approved and regularly maintained for use. Each service we provide follows the strict rules and guidelines as indicated by CPSO Standards of Practice. Each member  employed at RCE is highly skilled, qualified, and committed to providing our patients with excellence in care. 

Dr. Vladislav Khokhotva is a general surgeon specializing in laparoscopic and minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery. Dr. Khokhotva went to University of Toronto for medical school, and, subsequently, to Queen’s University (in Kingston, Ontario) for general surgical residency. He moved to Windsor in 2010 and began practicing gastrointestinal surgery at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan campus.

In 2012, Dr. Khokhotva opened his own clinic, the Rose City Endoscopy.

If he is not seeing patients in the clinic, he is at Metropolitan campus caring for in-hospital patients. Dr. Khokhotva specializes in laparoscopic and surgical interventions on gastrointestinal symptoms and diseases such as appendicitis, gallstones, etc.

Rose City Endoscopy prides itself from having excellent healthcare professionals. 

Our receptionists are friendly and knowledgeable. They will provide you with a wealth of information you need prior to your procedure or appointment. 

If you are coming in for a procedure, you will meet Registered Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses who are highly skilled in caring for patients undergoing endoscopy. Other staff members include our general manager, medical assistants, and reprocessing technicians that ensure the clinic performs to its highest quality in patient care. 

Apart from our staff, we also work with other medical colleagues, such as anaesthesiologists, medical/surgical students, and residents.
